Yeazell, p. 1-3: “Locating Procedure”

 

I think this is more or less a pep talk to get us interested in what we’ve been assured will be a stupendously dull topic.  It says here that truth, justice, and pizza are on the line when procedural questions are on the table.  Steve sets up the chapter as a broad overview that will skip the nasty details until later.  For now, we’re given a situation to think about, that of Peters and Dodge on p. 3.
